5 Question Friday

My Little Life

1. Whats your favorite horror movie?

My favorite horror movie is House on Haunted Hill. It freaks me out and I like that! I also loved the Exorcism of Emily Rose, because as far I we know, exorcism's are real! And how creepy is it to watch something that "supposedly" happened!? OOooOo

2. Bath tub or Hot tub?

Bath tub, unless it is my own personal hot tub. Hot tubs can carry infection because of the warmth, and I am NOT about giving myself infections :)

3. Do you prefer to view a movie at the theater or at home?

I prefer at home, because I cannot sit still long enough to get through a movie at times. I get distracted very easily, and would rather not have a head obstructing my view. I have a perfectly fine 1080p LCD 52" t.v. at home with Blu-ray and surround sound (spoiled rotten) hehe

4. If you could chose a maid, cook or chauffeur, which one would you choose?

Chauffeur, I hate to drive :)

5. Electric Slide, Boot Scootin' Boogie, or the Macarena?

I don't really care for any of these. I am not a line dancer kind of chick...

Hrmph.

If my house had ceiling fans, which it does not...the shit would have hit them. My tolerance level is seriously being tried lately. As if I were not under enough stress from the wedding plans, home-owning, bill paying, and life... I get more tacked on by friends and family regarding the *stupid* traditions of the wedding. I won't go into details for fear of causing further drama in my life, but I am tired of everything and wish it were over. I am regretting having a wedding at all. I wish we would have just saved our money and had a ceremony with our parents only. I feel betrayed. I feel hurt. And most of all I feel distrust. I feel like were sharing this day with some people who really don't care about my feelings. We are spending literally all of our money on this wedding, and I feel like it is the biggest waste. I feel horrible that I feel this way too. :( I wish I could just be happy.

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

It was not me, who on a whim, bought a deep deep red paint and paint one wall in my living room to add some color and personality to the atmosphere.

On that note, it was not me who also bought an orange color (with the word marmalade in the name) for my current lemon yellow kitchen. I am not a whore for color, and I do not sometimes LOVE the chances I take with it!

It wasn't me who parked my car at a t-stop (public rail transport in Pgh) took the T to town, get off the T, walk about 14 blocks in the cold rain to a bar...to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins take victory in this seasons first game! And it wasn't me who later accepted a ride to another bar back near my house and leave my car that t-stop over night until late afternoon the next day. I did not have to pay twice for parking :)

It was not me who giggled at the sentence of T's in my last paragraph...

Took The T To Town...

A take on my life as of today

As an ordinary stressful day in my life has occurred, I felt I would brush up on my story since a few new people have started wandering on my site (secretly I jump for joy)

I was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on MBAFB (Myrtle Beach Air Force Base)..in a hospital room where I my mom could view the ocean. On my way home from the hospital, my mom and dad stopped at the beach (against the orders of my doctor-hehe) to show me the ocean. Now, I don't remember much of anything about that day, but, from photographs...it was a windy Mid-October fall day...as much as it can be fall at the beach. I lived in a blue trailer, which my parents had shown me later in life on a visit to the beach and surprisingly it was still there! Being that dad was military, we were soon shipped off to jolly ol' England! On the approach of my third birthday, my sister was born. She gets the honor of holding 2 birth certificates and citizenship's! My mom raised my sister and I while my dad was off working, running around and what not. She took care of a newborn and a 3 year old often alone, in a foreign country, with no car! Amazing if you ask me! I remember feeding peacocks, that is all. People ask, so do you remember?! I do not, cept for the peacocks and a vague memory of what our house looked like once with balloons on the door. Ohh that military...off to Eglin AFB we went. Eglin AFB sits right on the Gulf Coast of Florida. It is absolute paradise! Destin, is the town in which is close to that you may know of. Destin is surrounded by powder white sand, emerald and crystal clear waters so warm and shallow. It is absolutely a perfect place. We lived there for many years, long enough to actually have friends! :) My mom started nursing school. I attended elementary school here. On my first day of kindergarten, I wore a Batman shirt with a pink and orange skirt with suspenders...hot. My sister would stand at the bus stop with me and cry, that she couldn't go to school too. But 3 years later, she was gifted the ability to get on that bus. The day she got on the bus, everybody cheered. It was bittersweet. After some lovely years in this DESTINation, we were shipped off again. Las Vegas, NV...We lived in a condo complex called Eagle Trace..it was totally awesome. It had like 5 outdoor pools, 1 indoor, all kinds of sports, fresh muffins and juice at the gate in the morning...cookies in the office...so many wonderful amenities. We only lived here a short 6 months though. My dad was given an early retirement...so he took it. So here I am now, in Pittsburgh, PA. Since moving to Pennsylvania, my mom and dad have gone their separate ways. As have my father and I. I no longer have a relationship with him, and he has another family. My sister lives with him when she is not in school, but we (my sister and I) remain friendly. I in fact no longer speak to anyone on my dad's side of the family...they just don't seem to understand me. At 17 years of age, I got a job at the local amusement park (Kennywood)...and met future husband. His name is Ashley...as is mine. We are quite often referred to as "the Ashleys"! It is fun, silly, and unique... We were engaged on October 21, 2008 (my birthday) and are getting married on November 21, 2009..so soon!

I am interested in art...photography, design, painting, and such. I am a graphic designer for a printing company in Pgh. We print things for Reebok, Giant Eagle, Majestic, NHL, Dicks Sporting Goods...some pretty big names. I hate it :) You will come to learn this. The company's authority is not quite professional in the way they handle their business and it gets very frustrating.

My fiance and I just bought our first house...it is a 2 bedroom ranch! It is very cute and I love it! We have a dog named Chloe, she is 1 year old. She is a Jackhuahua...chihuahua and jack russel. She is only 10 pounds, and is the most lovable little thing ever (to only us of course)...haha

So that is basically my life right now...and in the past. I hope to make some new friends and acquaintances !!
